Lots to choose from this week when we were putting this lil’ lobbo< together! It’s always tough narrowing a whole week into six stories, but we do our best to keep it entertaining, engaging, and wherever possible, esoteric.
If you haven’t seen it, which would be fair enough so it was only posted this morning(!) check out the lyrical waxing of our very own Dave Barton on all things medical cannabis marketing, who’s doing it right, and where people are missing a trick.

A cannabis transport company and a retailer, IDY Distributors and Simply Pure, are the first to receive funding from Colorado’s Cannabis Business Loan Program which aims to help social equity licensees get capital. Nice one(!).
There’s perhaps nothing less sexy than the demarcation of legislation. But with Gavin Newsom, governor of California, vetoing AB 1207, at least there is a glimmer of hope for cannabis branding and marketing to continue to thrive in the state.
Ever been thrown out of a pub for rolling a spliff? Ever sought compensation for that ejection? Well, a former Mountie successfully won a $10,000 human rights complaint, after he was removed from a pub for that very reason. Lesson: don’t try to stop people from taking their medicine.
In the first year that waivers for cannabis have been allowed in the US Air Force, they have been used three times more than anticipated. 165 waivers were given out which means that recruits were given a second chance. Every recruiter has targets, even the military.
